Hi all

Since having the original Vbass and now the VB99 I tend to take the 1/4" outputs to a mixer where I plug in my ipod and headphones to play along with music.

Is there an easy way to plug my mp3 player into the vbass and eliminate the need for a mixer? It seems like an oversight if not.

I can also play music on my laptop and plug that in via the USB perhaps but not sure of the setting to do so?

Cheers

Use the VB99 as an USB sound card

System > USB >put USB in toMain & sub / adjust volume

Set CPU to VB as sound output
That's it

Be sure to turn off ADVANCED MODE under VB-99 Audio settings too

Thanks guys, got it.

To play into garageband it works well, however if I want to play along with iTunes then I have to put my headpphones into the laptop rather than the VB99?

Cheers

You can use the VB for iTunes too, same principle.
Any sound coming from the CPU will output in the VB.

BTW : The CPU sounds through the VB will sound a lot better than the CPU headphones.
