It lives!!! Useful info if you've jumped over to an M1 Mac or have an older Intel device running Monterey. For a fistful of spondoolies you can run the original editor in the 64-bit environment. It should also be compatible with Big Sur and Catalina. Seasons greeting to all Vguitar Forum members.

Just one question :

Can VG99 working this way via USB in Standard Mode?

Thanks! Season Greetings!

Hey pasha11,

The same rules still apply regarding the use of a 5-pin MIDI to USB adaptor. The big deal is that there was no way to run a non-ARM VM on M1 devices and there are no ARM compatible drivers for most (if not all) MIDI interfaces so you couldn't access the editor on WIN 11 for ARM processors via any means. Now you can bypass the VM approach.

Standard mode still supports 16-bit, 44.1kHz audio only.

If you're on an Intel device you can run advanced mode (at least under certain conditions) but it only supports the audio part. You need the DIN-To-USB adaptor either way.

Thanks now it's clear to me.

My Mac is using OS Ventura 13.2.1 with the M1 processor. In my applications, both the editor and library apps are grey and unresponsive. I have tried to log each into Crossover without any luck. I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated.
