Title: Wiring Individual GK Sensors To Two GK Kit Boards Simultaneously.
Post by: luca9583 on May 24, 2023, 10:28:06 AM
Hi guys

Quick question. Is it possible to wire the sensors in a GK pickup to two GK boards at the same time.

On my modded GK setup with my 7 string guitars, i've got one GK handling the top 5 strings going to a VG-99, and a second GK handling the two low strings going to a VB-99, but i'd also like to be able to send strings 5,4 and 3 to the VB-99. The second GK is chopped up so there are only two sensors wired to the second GK board.

Is it as simple as soldering some extra wires form the first GK pickup's sensors to the second GK board?

There isn't space to mount a full size second GK pickup so i suppose the only other way is to use a breakout box from the main GK and split the 3 strings i need from that to go into a breakin box that would feed the desired combination of strings to the VB-99.
