FC300 - Patch Select

Hi, I am currently running my new FC-300 in Sysex Mode to see the VG-99 Patch names on the FC floor unit. However, when changing 'Banks' the Patch # is not increasing continously..... e.g.  Patch 5/10 is active ...now pressing 'Bank Up' and it should go to 1/5 in the next bank but stays at 5/10 one 'bank' above, so that I need to change again from 5/10 to 1/5 ....what do I miss, that when pressing 'Bank Up'  it changes automatically from 5/10 to 1/5 of the next bank ? Thanks a lot.

I dont believe in sysex mode that you can use the bank pedal to increase the patch number incrementally. I could be wrong though, I havent had my FC300 long. In order to go from say patch 10 to patch 11, I believe you would need to set the fc300 bank change to "Wait Num" system setting. You would then press up a bank, then hit the first pedal.
