hey guys....
so i have had the gr-55 for a few months now and jumped ship for live
use as well as studio use over the vg-99.

don't get me wrong the vg-99 is still in the studio and i love it...
but the gr-55 can get me basic guitar tones AND real "analog" synth tones

having years of experience with synths and roland in particular
i went through all 910 waveforms and pulled the 41 waveforms
i tend to use if i where to be playing a synth ...what do they call the gr-55 again...oh never mind ;)

these patches have no fx other than the foot pedal modulates the cutoff of a low pass filter as one would expect
and about half of them have the CTL pedal jump up an octave

btw don't get me started as to why roland chooses one waveforms cutoff sweep to be from 0 to 50 and another to be from -30 to +10
THANK GOD FOR GUMTOWN'S EDITOR!

anyhow..
i put together this collection for folks looking to explore the art of guitar SYNTHS..
these are just building blocks to create more complex patches from...
stack them...use the asdr's, lfo's, filters, fx, modulations.....HAVE FUN WITH SYNTHS =)

if you find these useful please donate to this forum to keep this place alive and to gumtown for his amazing editor!
