How to get delay "carryover" from one patch to the next?

I've checked that the "Carryover" function is active (in the "Master" tab) of each patch, but I cannot figure out why it's not doing so... any ideas?.. what I missing?... just new at the CORE, any help is appreciated!

Same Master delay effect must be present on both prior and current patch

Tried the same delay on each patch.. didn't work... but when i used the "Master Delay" on the patch i wanted to have carry-over, it worked!.. the other patch didn't need to be set to Master-Delay, weird, hmm?... something the Core does a little differently than the GT-1000 i figure.. Thanx all!
