That's been around awhile.  I compared it to the Spin FV-1 (at least a quick datasheet overview).  The chip itself doesn't have pot inputs so if you want to be able to tweak parameters you have to add another micro to poke control values into the V1000.  On the flip side it seems to have more sophisticated algorithms for LFOs and pitch shifting than the FV-1.
