When I plug in my SY-1000 to my computer's USB port I get the attached error message.( A DRIVER CANNOT LOAD ON THIS DEVICE) The work around is to turn off Windows Defender memory integrity protection.  Using Windows 11. It's the only driver in my system that causes this. I don't see any driver updates at Boss.

Anyone else have this issue?

I have not had that problem with my Windows 11 & SY-1000 driver,
I know on Windows 10 there used to be an issue with Permissions and secutity settings, which was to "allow mic system permissions",
it is a setting which prevents audio devices to listen in on you (privacy issues).
Maybe a similar setting exists in Windows 11.

Has your Windows recently updated?
Sometime you have to reload some music drivers after a Windows update.

Unfortunately the computer crashed hard. I have bigger issues now.  Ugh. I will revisit this after I get everything back up and running.

I see this warning on a Surface Pro 9 with a fresh Windows 11 install.

However, like it says, you can disable the protection and then the driver will load (and function).

The doc says Windows 11 drivers for SY-1000 are still in testing.
