Is there a Utube video showing someone disassembling and reassembling the vg-99 unit? I can't tell from the service manual where the springs go. Thanks

I don't know exactly how they go in, but the two similar springs go in the back corners, and the other goes in the right front corner.

They sit in the top plastic chassis in each rear corner and provide an electrical ground path between chassis bottom plate and conductive  inner coating of VG-99 plastic chassis-to minimize EMI/RF emmissions and pass FCC/CE Compliance.

Cheers,
I don't know about recreating GP-100 sounds on a VG-99, but they are two entirely different devices. The GP-100 is a Guitar Preamp/Processor driven by the 1/4" output of a standard electric guitar, while the VG-99 is a modeling system, driven the 13 pin output of a GK-3 or equivalent. The VG-99 isfar more than a multi-effects processor.
