Here's my last work. VG99, GP10, Zebra, Valhalla Plugins, MIDI Guitar2.
I also played keyboards! :-)

i'm 3 songs in and very impressed.  both the mixing and the guitar work are super solid.  i believe you're mixing synth with vg-99/gp-10 lead guitar sounds, it's nice having the patch be somewhat on the verge between guitar and synth.

looks like you were able to overcome your wrist issues, or at the very least i'd say they haven't held you back.

Thanks for listening and nice comments.
I have worked on sounds exchanging experiences between GP10 and VG99 and viceversa. When porting sounds you always obtain something different.
In VG99 I have defret FX and I use it on clean Normal Pickup. In GP10 you are forced to use Fretless Guitar with Hex Pickup. I like the VG99 more.
Valhalla Shimmer helps a lot in the background to get long tails. The Nylon Guitar comes from GP10 and so are the OSC sounds and Pads... while VG99 provides (to me) better GR300 pads even if in the last song it's all GP10 :-). So mix and match all the time. In 'Miles Away' I used Midi Guitar 2 for the 'Trumped/Sax' and Flutes sounds. I like the Deep expressor a lot (4th solo) between two Zebrify synth trumpet sounds!

I put wrist issue aside after a long stop, then I discovered I got rhizoarthrosis and I had to stop again. Doctor says it's in inithial phase. It can be slowed down but not healed. She has several pro musicians as patients and will try her best to avoid surgery / offending practices to my hand as much as possible.  I am developing techniques to avoid thumb stretching. Music is not over!  8)

i really do regret not buying a vg-99 way back when.

and thanks for letting me know about the deep expressor, i need to experiment with that, it sounds great.

sorry to hear that your wrist issues have resurfaced.  hopefully there will be many more good days than bad.

do you have a plan for the next album?  or will it arise spontaneously?

It usually surfaces spontaneously but I know that I can't wait ispiration forever so I know my 'creative triggers' and it can be a new sound, some unfinished material that enters the process again, I personally have tons of leftovers ideas.. but to be honest it's rare for those to become a new track but they can contribute as 'triggers'.

Doctor has temporary healed me (she underlined temporary..) with those : https://www.amazon.it/Supporto-pollice-Ortho-Thumb-brace/dp/B00691TDCA I wear them at all times during the day so my working in IT / Mouse doesn't injury me too much. This makes my hands free at night and is where I usually play. I can play with the left 'aid' on with the right 'aid' on you can experience very strange palm mutes. :-)
