Is there anything out there like the Peavey AT-200 Antares Auto-Tune guitar?

I'm a long time Peavey AT-200 owner. I love having an electric guitar that can sound like a multitude of different electrics and also an acoustic guitar or even a bass, not to mention virtual capo, custom tunings/doublings, all in-guitar without any additional FX.

I've been waiting and hoping for anyone else to come along and create something that impressive but as yet I haven't seen anything better than that. I tried a Fishman TriplePlay Wireless unit to attempt to play acoustic/bass sounds as well as electric from the same guitar but it's just not as good, and obviously requires an external MIDI sound device.

Does anything else like the AT-200 exist?

So the Antares ATG-1 floor unit is a thing.

Paired up with a Dr. Joness BX-13 https://www.joness.com/gr300/BX13.htm
I am able to run my G-707 https://www.joness.com/gr300/G-707.html
and Ibanez IMG2010 https://www.joness.com/gr300/img2010.htm

Having my cake and eating it too :D

Of course you can also toss a GK-3 on your guitar of choice https://www.roland.com/ca/products/gk-3/

Long since discontinued and abandoned by its creator, there are definitely a few caveats. Mainly, the pitch corrected signals are not passed to the 13 pin out\thru & despite the full compliment of MIDI ports, there is NO pitch to MIDI. Planned but never implemented. That said, tracking with something like Jam Origin's MIDI Guitar can certainly benefit... https://www.jamorigin.com/

It is still possible to update these units to the latest firmware version with features beyond what the AT-200 is capable of.  Provided you can track one down and are willing to pay the price.

Dig around the forum, it's all here.

The Variax.
It does guitar modeling, custom tunings.
However, it does not auto-tune.

Roland VG Strat /G5 = better modeling than Variax

Most here just mount a GK-3 to a guitar they prefer,  and drive a  VGuitar.Modeling unit * Roland VG-99, Vguitar COSM Modeling portion of GR-55 ,  Boss GP-10 , SY-1000

All cover guitar Modeling. DSP  Alt tuning features found on  Variax,  Peavey AT200
