Yes. Guitar Pro 6 adds a lot more than just tab - composition etc. Its a pretty complete package now.

The iPad version is great for learning covers, solo's etc. I use it, plus my son uses it for his practice.

I am loving prochords it's a piano based app however it is a smart chord generator so you pick a chord then it will suggest the onescthat best suit it but also others that migh be a little left field. It's brill for song writing, after you have it nailed pick up you fav axe away you go!
