Hi

For anyone interested, I just got this working. Using a now floor mounted wingman gamepad, I can change patches up down and turn stomps on off using a plain old wireless USB joystick.

All you need to do is configure virtual midi. For those without a controller, its a good temporary measure, and very easy.

Instructional: Use USB Joystick or Gamepad in FL Studio

Note that you have to get rejoice from other place, his link is dead. No Dark Fire and too much time on hands.

Andrew, that's amazing!!! Sounds like you might get good mileage from your rig once you get your guitar back! Thanks for sharing.

I was amazed :) Pleasure.

For your info, it works fine with the learn function in GR3 where I now change patches with two buttons and turn the looper on and off with 2 patches.

I also use it with Amplitube Fender, for model up down and stomps on off.

Suggest joystick with big buttons. You could of course take out the guts and box mount with switches - the 20 dollar midi box!

My Darkfire RIP works great with all these with my Epiphone plugged in, so mileage is good already! IT sucks that my X3 live wont send midi over USB, but this works fine.
