QuoteAll of the videos I posted were streaming audio over Bluetooth from my laptop. Most (if not all) were playing backing tracks from Youtube.

The Micro sends both the processed guitar AND the streamed Bluetooth audio to it's headphones and USB-C output jack.
Which is a unique feature somewhat exclusive to Mustang Micro

Compare to NUX Mighty Plug, Bluetooth backing tracks are headphone only -not sent to USB.

This feature alone (sends both the processed guitar AND the streamed Bluetooth audio to it's headphones and USB-C output jack)
makes Mustang Micro very attractive for educators and Youtube content creators

You kind of sense that they wanted to get this video out first... hence five minutes of chatter and about 15 seconds of actual demo...

I see mention of a "audio/video sync" feature.

Is this basically standard Bluetooth audio pairing or is there some other magic going on?

Mustang Micro employs Bluetooth 5.0 APTx Low Latency ( 40ms) receiver - but you must have a Bluetooth 5.0 APTx Low Latency ( 40ms)  Transmitter ( new iPad Pro) or this adapter ( amazon $35)

More detail on enabling Youtube Audio / Video Sync with Chromebooks

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/youtube-audiovideo-sync/mknmhikmjljhpccebpnplhicmcfjkgbk?hl=en

There is always a delay when streaming audio from your device to a receiver (Apple TV, AirPlay speakers, Sonos, Network Player, TuneBlade, Bluetooth, etc.). This is not a big issue when streaming music but any video will become out of sync. This Chrome Extension attempts to solve this problem for YouTube.

The extension allows adjusting to a positive delay as well as a negative one making it possible also to correct any YouTube video that has been uploaded out of sync.

One time set up:

- Play a YouTube video

- Click on the YouTube Audio/Video Sync icon in the YouTube player (next to the player's Settings button)

- Use the + and - buttons or click on the delay value and edit it directly.
