Fishmann Triple Play connect and logic?

Hi,

I just signed up, but I have been a curious reader for years now and found so many solutions for my problems on this site. Hope this is the right topic.
I just bought a Fishman connect and I would like to use it in logic in a way so I can split each string on separate channels and use different VST instruments with it. Has someone experience with splitting the pick up different channels inside logic?

What I do is put each string on a separate midi track(so 6 tracks) in Logic and or (Mainstage for that matter) and then assign each string/track to a different midi channel (i.e. 1-6) . You can then use a different VST on each string/channel.  Hope this helps.
