Here is a user guide for Linux based DAW. Just published by the inimitable Pete Reppert, a programmer, web developer, science educator and jazz/synth player (Redeen on reverbnation). This manual is free, of course. Thanks, Pete!

Thanks for posting that info. I've been exploring Ubuntu studio lately, and was wondering if their latest was going to be the last version. Looks like it will move forward. Ardour (the DAW included in studio) looks to be a pretty full-featured application, but I haven't had much time to try it out yet. Now that there's documentation it will be even better. This is good news!
