Hi Everyone,

Are there any sites that list details that form the basis of a Tone Library for the JS-10? (ie something like ToneCloud)

The closest I've seen is (for example):

Not having an API and having to enter everything manually does not help (neither does having it embedded in its own database - so just just copy in a folder of settings :( ).

I thought as much. And given the age of the device, I can't see if happening now. Pity. :(
Thanks for the response.

Can anyone suggest a good source of tone guides?
As it appears we'll have to do them ourselves.
So the question becomes where and how do we start doing this?
I'm a noob. Very new to all of this.
By Tone Guides, I guess I mean a cheat sheet. Similar to what Tony's done above.
In this case, short of spending 1000's of hours playing around with it, and hopefully remembering what you've done, it's hard to find the tone you're looking for.
This would apply to any and every modelling amp.
You want a tone that is from X.
Where would one start to replicate it? it there a general process to follow?
I'm sure people vastly more experienced that I am would know, how to start, and where to go from there.
Am I asking for a unicorn solution, that there is 'no easy short cut' ;) to get close to approaching the desired tone?
Anyhoo, my brain is mud, and I hope the question is understandable.
Cheers to anyone who can assist.

This guide originally was written for the GT-8, but the practice applies for most Boss digital multi-effects.
