Look, it's not a pad!  ;D

This patch is a stout effort to disguise some of the #$%$!!! flaws of the Osc synth as gracefully as possible. It employs one of my oldest guitar synth tricks- cover up poor tracking with a distracting attack transient (the front-end of the sound). In this case, a triggered wah on the regular guitar does the work on introducing the sound of the patch, and then a slightly delayed Osc brass patch fills in. You can play this very fast if you want because the ear gets briefly fooled by the wah sound and the glitches of the Osc synth are less obvious.

It's a different sound than a GR-300 brass or similar which tracks flawlessly but lacks the synth richness of the Osc synth.
