I tried something new today that I've been thinking about.
New for me but probably not for everybody.
adding FX to the dry guitar in the DAw before reamping.
this is only a test and nor a consistent one.
I added different fx to 2 different presets in GP and tweaked the presets and the Daws FX
I didn't bother with the extra noise or my playing , I was only interested if it worked well enough to use at one point or another.

a version of a GR300 dist only GP-10 FX

here with different FX etc etc.

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

Interesting concept. How about adding effects to the six hex channels of the GP10? Maybe it is possible to build something with interesting rhythms by adding different delays to each string...

yes
I did add delay and FX from the Daw back into GP10 but same on all strings.
I wanted to see what would happen.
There's tons of possible ways to add sonic perversions

With reamping, don't forget the basic stuff...after this you can go completely wild.

To me the point was to see what would happen in GP10 when fed back not dry guitar but daw fx processed sound.
In other words
I'm not interested using GP as a break out box and using hex processing in a DAW
but to see how GP would react to FI distortion, flanger , delay , harmonizer etc etc.

And for what it's worth , it works

Point taken Brak(E)man.  Was only thinking reamper's might not know about basic daw audiophile separate string adjustments.

Cool...I shall take my leave  8)

You might be right.

I don't reamp very often , only to find a way to do something not doable.
Like SY300 with hex PU.
