Spotted this Blue Book listing while looking for something else --

Quotesimilar to WY 1 Virtuoso (folk style body), except features a thin cutaway body with solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, has Roland GK2 electronics, available in Satin Graphite finish, mfg. 1998-2004.

MSRP $2,299, worth $650-$1,650 (2004). Per Fjestad's Rule, it's unusual that ANY used guitar is worth 50% of SRP, particularly while still in production, so I figure the valuation has likely gone up.

whoops, maybe spoke too soon --

FWIW, I actually tried out an Alt-X (non-Roland) back in 2002, only because it looked so weird. And I gotta say, it surprised me: one of the best-sounding recent Martins I've tried.

The Ramirez is a total surprise. Ghost saddles?

The other guitar player in the band I was in put that same RMC 13 pin hex system on a steel string Takamine acoustic guitar.
