This piece is all Apple's MainStage 3 performance software with the exception of a volume pedal and an EBow. There is a lot of potential to create great sounding ambient guitar patches using all the "stock" components. Stay tuned for more!

Very nice! I was fortunate to go to one of Fripp's "Exposure non-tour" gigs at a local record store, in the late 70's , I believe. It was quite unique, at that time, as he played using 2 Revox tape decks, live. It was a unique musical experience that I will not forget.

I have enjoyed many of his videos.
Didn't have time to go find it again, but he did one with the Melo9 flute recently that was one of the nicest mellotron flute pieces I've heard.

peace

PLEASE stop promoting this guy.

I have taken so much inspiration from his YouTube channel in the past few months.
If everyone gets to know his music, then i will just be another soundalike!

Same goes for you, ASB.
I would copy you and take the credit but already too many people know about you.
...and copying you doesn't come so easy.

Season"s Greetings to all vguitarists.

:-)  I'm still somewhat of a secret even in my own town.  I just have vocal enthusiastic supporters for which I am grateful - most of them outside of the United States.  No worries!

Bill Vencil had a great idea with his channel that definitely has resonated - he's got a ton of supporters.   His triple focus of gear reviews, his own music, and sometimes philosophical thoughts is a great idea.

My channel is less focused - I started as a guitarist using almost exclusively non-Roland gear and now I'm so invested pretty much anyone who's ever seen me life know that the Roland gear is kind of key to what I do and I don't do reviews, philosphy, just music.  I could switch it up!  Maybe VG-99/GP-10 programming school or something.

so used to just clicking on your links here that I didn't know you had a YouTube channel. I'll have to check it out.

If there's a lot of talking going on a music video, I tend to move on. Music is its own language.

I enjoy listening to Mikhail Medvedev for ambient music tips.  You just have to watch him play to learn and often he will just have some text.

He doesn't present his music videos as if he's trying to sell gear products.

That's my channel.  I have some full ambient concerts up primarily as I have a few fans who are actually disabled and will never be able to see me live most likely as travel is not an option so that's kind of a bonus for those people.  I've got some auroral timelapses with original music and some other stuff.

My wife did a short lived collection of unboxing/asmr style videos.  That's her doing.  LOL.

I'm completely embarrassed (in a good way) that I never had made the connection that
'he' was 'you'.
