GR-55 + GT-1 makes a very versatile rig

GR-55 Guitar Out > GT-1 Guitar In
GR-55 Headphone Out > GT-1 Aux In
GT-1 Stereo Out > Stereo DI box to PA

Use the on board Expression pedals to choose  / blend which one is currently feeding the PA

Currently I have the GR-55 and the GP-10. Not used them together but wondering whether to replace the GP-10 with the GT-1. Any thoughts?

The pair you have now is much more versatile. But if you do not use the GP-10 guitar simulation a GT-1 may be slightly better.

Only advantage of  GT-1 is smaller size and battery power

the GT-1 Amp models are 15%  improved vs GP-10's

each year brings more refinement in the Roland / Boss DSP processing

But the GP-10 ( with a GK-3 equipped guitar) is far more versatile for MY needs

GR-55 + GP-10 also makes a very versatile rig

GR-55 Guitar Out > GP-10 Guitar In
GR-55 Headphone Out > GP-10 Aux In
GP-10 Stereo Out > Stereo DI box to PA

Use the on board Expression pedals to choose  / blend which one is currently feeding the PA

or

get a US-20 A/B/Y switch or Roland GKP-2  GK 13 pin Y cable
http://www.rolandus.com/products/gkp-2/

and feed both GR-55 and GP-10 in parallel
GR-55 Headphone Out > GP-10 Aux In
GP-10 Stereo Out > Stereo DI box to PA
