Sweetwater says they have it in stock...... Does anyone know anything about it, talked to them or bought the unit? ...... does it have the new firmware and patches?

I have read thru these threads before.... Mostly what I wanted to know was, has anyone been in contact with sweetwater or any other supplier [ or maybe purchased the Black ] to find out if the patches and firmware were different in the GR 55 Black compared to the GR 55 Blue.

Yes, Roland says there will be some new patches in the black unit. The pending update may include the new patches. You can preview audio of the patches here:
