Program GR-55 patches without pedalboard?
« on: June 26, 2012, 06:41:39 AM »

Hey guys.
I want to b able to work on patches while I am at work.
Is there any way to program patches without having the actual unit at work, say with a midi keyboard and emulator or something?

Without the hardware you cannot get the sounds. You can run Gumtown's Floorboard editor and tweak settings, but there is no way to hear what effect the changes will have until you load the changes to the GR-55.

I kinda figured nobody had an emulator for the sounds yet.
Does anyone know if there is a bundle of mp3's of all the native sounds, or some audio example of every patch?  At least that way I can determine some patches to start off with.
For example, I had the exact sound for the sweeping sound effect on rush - Tom sawyer on my GR-20. If I can't emulate at work, maybe I can find the synth sound I used and then modify when I get home...
