I can't seem to find out how to turn the gk3 into the modeled guitar controls.Like the volume knob for the volume knob of the modeled guitar and the switches 1 and 2 into a toggle switch for the pickups of modeled guitar.It was really easy with the VG99 to do this but I'm having no luck with the GR55.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you would start with page 61 in the manual which will also refer you to page 69.  You didn't really say whether you wanted this to be global, so for every patch or if you wanted to set it up for a patch by patch basis. I haven't had my GR-55 for that long and haven't had any desire to experiment with any of these settings, but it may be possible that if you are trying to do it at the patch level the default of GK S1/S2 and GK VOL are defaulted to do what they do on a global basis.  So when you get to those controls at the patch level, they simply aren't available because they have been pre-assigned at the global level. When you scroll to them at the patch level I think they just say something like "system" and you can't dial in the choices of what you would like to assign to them.

You can set the GK volume knob to control just the COSM guitar sound in a patch, or use the Global settings, if you want it to always control just COSM guitar.  Look at the GK 3-way switch threads for related info.

Unfortunately, S1/S2 are not really enabled for five way switching in the GR-55.   There are several threads about that, too.
