Software for Solo Midi Musicians

Does anyone know of a software program, PC or Mac, that will do the following:

* Manage a set list
* Handle both audio and midi tracks
* Handle multiple sysex tracks to send control messages to multiple midi devices (GR-55, GR-33, VP-7, SR-16, etc.)
Programs like Ableton Live 8 will handle multiple audio & midi tracks as well as the set list, but won't handle the sysex data.  Cubase 4 wasn't designed to handle set lists.  I don't think any free programs like Audacity have that kind of capability.

What I'd like to try is to have the computer remember that on bar 16 I need to add Overdrive on the GR-55, the Intelligent harmonizer on the GR-33 gets set to F#m and at the same time set the VP-7 to 3 part harmony, and also remember to turn them off at bar 32.

Another example, fade in pcm1 volume on the GR-55 at bar16, fade in pcm2 at bar 24, fade in synth 1 volume on the GR-33 at bar 32, fade in synth 2 volume at bar 40.

It seems like that would make a lot more sense then trying to hit two foot switches simultaneously, or adding multiple expression pedals to further clutter up the stage.

Bump

It's hard to believe that no one in this wonderful community has an answer to this question.

The GR-55 accepts MIDI Continuous Control changes - does your other hardware respond to those?

If so, you should be able use your DAW software of choice to insert CC values into a MIDI track set to the same channel as the target device.

Thanks Paults,

I'm not sure that everything I'd like to do is covered by cc's.  I'd like to be able to:

* raise & lower the volume of pcm, modeling & guitar
* switch pcm tones (don't know if that's possible in realtime)
* turn efx on & off
And that's just on the GR-55.  :)

I'm using Cubase 4.5, but that doesn't have a playlist function.  I've been looking at Ableton Live 8, but that doesn't support sending sysex messages.  Sonar MIGHT be an option, but I'm not willing to shell out $400 just to find out.

Have you looked at Mainstage 2? I'm not sure it can do everything you need but it's definitely designed for solo musicians. http://www.apple.com/logicpro/mainstage/

Only $29 on the Mac app store.
