Hello all,

I just got a gr 55 - maybe I should have goten something more simple, lol. Anyway the first thing I wanna do is get it set up for guitar sounds. I have a few questions. If any one can help I sure appreciate it.

1. How do I create a user patch
2. Should I put all the sounds I am going to use under the user patch button list
3. Can I just download user patches
4. I want Ac, clean, grunge type settings first

Thanks

OK wiskymn, welcome to the group and making a patch can be done a few different ways. the easiest way is to find an existing patch and write it to the user section (the user section is the only place you can save a new or modified patch). The next way is to start from scratch and institutionalize a patch(see manual). You may also find user patches here on the forum. I recommend downloading and installing gumtowns GR-55 Floarboard editor it makes things so much easier even for someone who is very familiar with the menu system of the GR-55. I also have some more detailed PDF documents in the download section of the forum that will help you better understand the GR-55 and help you make good patches and proper GK settings. Good luck and I hope I helped.
