Wow. Cool piece of equip. I'm still a bit lost but getting more comfy with the ins and outs. Tracking is about what I read about. What I love is the acoustic sounds!! I took the cruddy sounding soundhole PU completely off the guitar. Is there any reason I need it? Mounted the GK3 on my old trusty Guild Madiera, (Not worried about the double sided tape on the finish. Nearly lost that guitar in a lake when boat capsized, she can take it) And it works great. 

Anybody else eliminate the PU when using the set up on an acoustic Guitar??  Can't wait to use live without the crappy PU

It will be great, just as long as you have metalic strings. 

I have tried the GK-3 on the cheapest acoustic i could find, GK bits held on with 'blutack' putty and the sounds were great, only using the modeled guitars.
Couldn't say the same about the guitars intonation though, the nut and fretboard seemed in different places.
The GR-55 tracked perfectly, which GK device are you going use, VG or GR?
