Use the VG-99 ASIO Driver!
Have you enabled "Advanced Mode" on the VG-99 Driver Control page?
See your Windows control panel, this allows use of the ASIO driver - and much lower latency than WDM driver.
Mac OSX USB Driver Controls are in your "System Preferences, Other" area.

thervantes:
Hello! You are very helpfull with all these information and i would like to ask you something more:
1) If a problem occures while updating to Firmware 1.04, how can we restore to the previus version (1.03) (maybe a "factory reset" will solve the problem?)
2)Should i connect the VG-99 with the PC via USB cable or via a midi cable? ( I want to update to Firmware 1.04) I'm asking this because the SMF Player has no option for usb connection, just Midi out device option?
Thank you!
Elantric:
1) - no can do, just repeat the 1.04 Firmware update procedure until it takes.
2) use USB - read the instructions.

If you have the VG-99 USB Driver installed and the VG-99 connected via USB, Launch the Roland SMF Player - then define the MIDI Output Device to be "VG-99 CONTROL"
