VG-99 - WinXP x64 bit drivers?

Yup.. that seems to have done the trick... Following Lee's suggestion [above], I went and un-checked support for USB 2.0 on my VirtualBox USB config. That works !!!
It now appears that both VMWare's Workstation/Player/Server products AND Sun's VirtualBox [1.6.6] support recording of the VG99 - using REAPER - in a 32-bit Windows XP VM !!

THAT IS GOODNESS for us folks on 64-bit systems   :o

I'm still getting disconnects and freezes however, with windows 7 looming x64 is gonna become more the standard with large amounts of ram in PCs.  It really irks me Roland cant make one of their teccy gits knock out some x64 drivers, I had a mate get some way there playing with existing drivers but he said it was a bit too hard for him! bugger so near and so far!  Roland probably wouldnt let us use reverse engineered stuff anyhoo!
