I'm curious to know if there are any "well known" bands/artists using the GR-55 for either live work or have featured it on any recordings? I realise the definition of "well known" is open to interpretation but I suppose I mean "internationally famous".

Whilst I love the GR-55 and all it's possibilities I can't imagine it would be robust enough for live use due to the limitations of the 13 pin connectors.

"due to the limitations of the 13 pin connectors"

Plenty of 13 pin gear has been used live by pros. I've had several bad 1/4 guitar cables failures in my 30 years of live gigs. I've had one 13 pin cable fail in 8 years....I crushed an end and warped it during setup. Always carry a spare regardless of cable type!
