Hi folks, new italian user here. I'm not new to the digital guitar world (I've been pretty active on the Fractal Audio forum in the last years so someone could already "know" me) but just recently discovered the wonders of v-guitars.
I've just registered here cuz I'm trying to acquire all possible informations before buying new gear, I guess I've found the right place to do it.
But I warn you that I could be a PITA with my questions :)

Hey welcome

just grab a product category that you might be interested in and read all the threads about it. That's always a good place to start.

But if I lived in Italy I'd head over and check this gear combination out.

Thanks for the link! That guitar is really gorgeous and the embedded hex fuzz seems interesting, anyway I don't think I'd buy a gr-300. As I'm going to explain soon in a new thread I'm mainly interested on alternate tunings and guitar simulations, synth stuff would only be a plus for me since I'd rarely use it live.
I've already read a bit and from what I understand the best in that field is currently the Antares ATG (waiting for the Cicfy Infinity), and I would have liked the luthier kit that sadly is almost impossible to find a this point. I can still find some ATG-1s but it's too big for my pedalboard and i'm a bit scared to buy a discontinued product.
So I was wondering if a GP-10 would be a valid alternative, especially on alternate tunings.

I was talking about the Antares ATG luthier kit :D
I'll probably buy the g3k kit in the end but I can find it for about the same price in Italy too. Thanks anyway!

Which after a 5 year run and no longer in production, - indeed is becoming very hard to find

Yes.. just a couple months too late :(
I am basically undecided between the gp-10 and the atg-1.. What's holding me from buying the atg-1 is mainly its size. I'd be curious to see the inside of the pedalboard to see if it would be easy to rehouse the main pcb in a smaller enclosure or if the main board is basically the same of the luthier kit and I could install it inside my guitar.

Ps: maybe i'd better open a dedicated thread

I had already tried a google search but it seems there are no internal pics of the atg floorboard on the net.
I'll dig into the thread you linked, it seems a great resource of informations, thank you very much!
