Hello, can anyone help me? I am am having problems assigning the ev-5 external expression pedal.  I have been trying and trying and used 2 different ev-5s but I can not get it done. I am wanting to control the delay time in a patch (or in all patches\ if possible) when the pedal is up completely dry or delay time = 0, and when pedal down i want around 400 ms.  Maybe both my pedals are bad or I am missing something, I am very frustrated as this is one of my favorite effects to bring in some delay (or reverb) at the end of a phrase, instead of delay on all the time. I had this programmed in on my GT-8 and used it for years but I think my GT-8 is getting ready to fizzle out.  While we are at it, has anyone had any success using alternative expression pedals with the GT-10, $59 is pricey for an expression pedal.....Anyway if someone can explain the proper procedure and settings to achieve this effect, I would be so so grateful.

Are you using a stereo (TRS) patch cable for the external EXP2?
Free "GR-55 FloorBoard" editor software from https://sourceforge.net/projects/grfloorboard/

The Roland EV-5 has its own cable attached, wired in, I believe it is stero though.

Post your problem GT-10 patch ( use Gumtown's Boss GT Floorboard ) so others can debug.

Boss GT/VG/GR Control assignments are similar across many  products and its useful to read out collection of user created docs ( many from the old Boss GT Central ) here

Read ALL the docs in the Roland COSM Library thread  - that has links to PDF docs that explain all VG/GR/GP/GT features in far greater detail
