Hello,
I've just bought the gp-10 and I'm experimenting with external midi triggering.

I'm using a focusrite as audio interface and the gp-10 via USB to send midi messages.

I want to send each string on a different midi channel in order to trigger different midi instruments in cubase at the same time.

Unfortunately even if I set the "Poly Mode" on gp-10 Cubase takes all 6 strings at once on all midi channels..

Am I missing something?

Can please anyone help me to figure this out?

You need MONO Mode to achieve 1 string per MIDI channel.

I tried what you suggested, but cubase takes all the strings  at the same time regardless midi channel setting..

If use the standalone version of kontakt works fine (with mono mode)..So I guess it has to do with cubase... any hints?

SOLVED

I had to set a midi channel filter from "input transformer" in the midi channel strip per each track

thank you

I was recording the audio put out by the GP10, before processing.

So you could do things to it before going through the amp sim/fx on the gp10.

Reamping.

That you can do with 3 stereo tracks to get the six strings.
