I'm unable to hear any audio with either program through my MacBook Pro headphone jack. I've tried enabling monitoring but no go.  The meters react to input but never hear any audio.  If anyone is using either of these Apple packages could you please give me some pointers to get it working? Much appreciated.  BTW, I have Live v6 and have no problems whatsoever hearing the audio.  So obviously something is different about this program.  Thanks!

The VG-99 is basically a 1 IN / 2 Out ASIO Audio Device.

I'm using a Macbook Pro and Logic Studio 8. If you have enabled the VG-99 to be the ASIO sound card within Logic 8 (or on the Mac) then the on-board sound card on the Macbook Pro won't be functioning. Try plugging the headphones directly into the VG-99.

I also discovered yesterday that it is possible to set the VG-99 as the active sound card on a Mac and use it to output all the sounds. I spent a lot of time last night jamming to the music in my iTunes library. I had my headphones directly plugged into the VG-99 and my Guitar plugged into the VG-99.

Hope this helps
