Just setup my GPD WIN from gearbest.com for $350.

I followed these instructions to optimize:

from r/gpdwin

and installed touch mouse pointer (just for ease): http://www.lovesummertrue.com/touchmousepointer/en-us/

I've got Ableton, Amplitube 4 ,FTP and midi guitar installed on it and it works surprisingly well. Very useful to replace the iPad/Iphone and stop dealing with IOS's upgrade cycles etc. Keyboard is not good for typing (too small and stiff) but decent for creating Ableton mapping shortcuts the touch screen and joysticks work quite well. Battery life seems to be 4-5 hours on high performance mode (which is required to disable CPU throttling for audio).

QuoteAll in all, the GPD Pocket is the only Ultra-Mobile PC that I've used that does justice to the "PC" moniker. I found myself constantly surprised with how good it is, and the premium fit and finish is on par with devices above its price range. The only thing I've had to adjust to is one that is a product of this size/form factor: a slightly cramped keyboard.
If you fancy a Pocket-able device to keep on hand at all times for those flashes of inspiration, or if like me, you've had an UMPC desire since seeing Bond drive his BMW off a parking garage — this is the device for you.

This is working great for me
1 )Made sure the GPD Pocket was connected to internet via Wi-Fi

2 ) Plugged in Boss GT-1 via USB

3 ) Powered Boss GT-1 "on" by connecting a 1/4" guitar cable to the GT-1 input

4 ) Within 15 seconds, Windows 10 had downloaded the Boss GT -1 USB driver and I heard a windows 10 "ding" in the headphones I had connected to the Boss GT-1, which indicates the Boss GT-1 USB Audio / MIDI driver for Windows 10 had successfully been installed

5 ) Launched Boss Tone Studio for Boss GT-1 and made the connection and it was a breeze to edit the GT-1

6 ) launched Reaper DAW app and assigned the GT-1 as ASIO 24bit@44.1kHz Audio Interface, set the ASIO buffer to 128 and began recording low latency Boss GT- 1 guitar test stereo audio tracks for 5 minutes.

7 ) In Reaper DAW app , I hit rewind and listen to  Reaper DAW app playback using headphones connected to GT-1, and  was met with superb Guitar tones in 24 bit stereo audio.
