noun
an effusively enthusiastic or ecstatic expression of feeling

Overview
The Rhapsody G12F is a one of a kind speaker that finds the balance between warmth, richness, and clarity. Too often with neutral and sterile sounding speakers the lack of richness makes playing unforgiving and unnecessarily difficult. The Rhapsody G12F provides a friendly warmth while sounding exceptionally clear, giving the guitarist access to fully express his or her music. No speaker in the world sounds and plays like this. This is THE guitar speaker for modern guitar players who want to craft their own tone.

What it sounds like
The best way to describe the sound is smooth. Low end is well controlled, mid range is rich, and high end is creamy and musical.

What it feels like to play
The fatiguing harshness of traditional speakers is eliminated. Unique to this speaker is its playability; there is a visceral feel of having complete control of your sonic destiny.

HOW DOES IT COMPARE TO THE EVM12L?
While the appearance and specs of the Rhapsody may look similar to an EVM12L, the Rhapsody is drastically different in tone and feel.  Some might describe the EVM12L as clinical whereas the Rhapsody is warmer, creamier, and more musical.

CAN THE RHAPSODY G12F BE FRONT MOUNTED?
It can be front mounted, but the baffle cutout needs to be at least 11.1" in diameter.

IS THERE A 16OHM VERSION?
There are currently no plans for a 16ohm version, but we understand the need for it in certain scenarios and it may a possibility in the future.

WHAT CABINETS WILL THE RHAPSODY G12F BE SUITABLE FOR?
The normal rules for cabinet selection apply.  It will work in a sealed, open back, or ported cabinet, and like any other speaker, it will respond with the expected characteristics of each cabinet design.

IS IT FRFR?
It is not a full range flat frequency speaker.

WHAT MAKES THIS BETTER THAN A TYPICAL GUITAR SPEAKER?
What someone might consider "better" is usually subjective, but typically there are some non-negotiables: no farting out, no cone cry, no voice coil rub, and other non-linear irregularities indicative of a poor performing speaker.  The 300W power handling capability ensures the Rhapsody G12F performs at a high level with much more flexibility in the amplifier feeding it.

The secondary characteristic of the high power pro-audio woofer approach is that the cone can be stiffer and more robust, leading to a lower resonant frequency and less peaky high frequency break-up modes.  What this leads to is a richer, fuller, and more clear sound without the buzzy, fatiguing high end harshness typical of many "vintage" style guitar speakers.

DOES IT WORK FOR MODELERS (AXE-FX, KEMPER, ELEVEN RACK, POSITIVE GRID, LINE 6 HELIX, ETC)?
Absolutely!  The Rhapsody G12F is highly optimized for modeling preamp users who want the "amp in the room" feel of an actual guitar cab.  These users often use a high power solid state power amp (>500W) to maximize headroom and minimize coloration of their modeler.  As such, a higher power guitar speaker is needed to keep up with these increased power amplifier demands and this is where the Rhapsody shines.
