When you're on the road, it's not so comfortable to bring along your entire kit and set up. Equipment is large, heavy and setup is a hassle.
Other controllers have larger dimensions and durability issues

That's why we created the iCtrl-R Mini.

Each of the 4 buttons has dual functions (click and hold) and you can send 2 program change for each switch (in mode1) or 2 control change (in mode 2) or select 2 scenes (in mode 3 of AXE FX firmware) or send bank up and down and preset a/b/c/d selection for each bank in mode 3 of the Jamup/bias fx firmware

Holding for a second one of the 4 switches you'll have the following 4 modes :

MODE1 : can send up to 8 program change
MODE2 : can send up to 8 control change (you can store the on/off status of 8 effect for each of the patch of mode1)
MODE3 : up to 8 scenes selection in the AXE FX firmware or bank up and down and preset a/b/c/d selection for each bank in the Jamup/bias fx firmware
MODE4 : up to 8 controls for looper mode.

Holding the switch 1 in MODE 1 will let you enter to calibration mode.

Both the external expression pedal and the Vslider will be active when MODE1 to MODE4 is selectedDigitare il paragrafo qui.




The iCtrl-R mini is a pocket size MIDI controller that can send MIDI messages through USB or MIDI out port or...both!

You can use it with all MIDI hardware like the AXE FX II or the Atomic Amplifier and software apps like Amplitube, Jam up pro, Bias FX, Guitar Rig on MAC/PC/iPad and iPod.

We have different dedicated firmware that can be easily uploaded on the controller and let you use it with the above mentioned stuff.
Just connect the controller to a MAC or PC and click a button on the controller !

The iCtrl-R has 4 different modes (you can switch between them by holding switches for one second) and a calibration mode to use the entire range of whatever expression pedal to be connected to the iCtrl-R mini .

In addition you'll have the Vslider that is a sensor capable of sending MIDI continuos control change and control then effects like wah or whammy by moving back and forth the foot from the controller box.

Just picked one of these up - will let you all know how I get on with it - looking forward to not needing an EV5 + pedals & just using this live

Had a quick test just to make sure it was all functional - hooked up to an iPad via usb / CCK - Bias FX - used midi learn and was able to get FX on/off working in 10 seconds - the VSlider (same as a Dbeam on VG99 but on the floor) seem really responsive it tracks your movement and translates it into pedal adjustment in Bias very smooth and with no noticeable latency. I also like that you can move either horizontal or vertical to trigger the movement. One last thing if you hold your foot in the beam and stay still for a few seconds it 'locks' into that position and you can remove your foot, so you can set a volume or 'cock' the Wah at a certain position.
Seem well built and the foot switch spacing is good, its very compact which is excellent. The only thing Im consciously aware of the mini usb connection on the back  which will need to be treated carefully in live situations. For the VG99 I will just use 5 pin midi (which I have not tested yet)
