tired of it freezing up, worse program ever !!!!!!!!!!

Agreed. My biggest pet peeve of the program is that when I try to copy patches and save them over another patch and they don't completely save correctly. Specifically dripstone cave.. I haven't had the time to go an check every single parameter for the patch and just make it the same, but copying patches is an important function for this device/program and if doesn't work that's a big failure to me.
NO my guitar isn't broken, its just missing its head.

should have said it sucked long ago, working great now, lol. this better not jinx me. ;D

Funny - I've not had a single issue with BTS on either SY-300, GP-10, or KATANA.

QuoteIMPORTANT UPDATE  in the patch save bug in GP-10 BTS version 1.1.0 -

Trying to expand the researching, today I noticed something that could be relevant for the historical records of this annoying bug.

I run BOSS TONE STUDIO 1.1.0 in the new OFF LINE mode which allows to use it in standalone without GP-10 connected to USB. In this "unplugged" mode I could verify that transferring of patches from the Edit Buffer to the BTS LIBRARIAN is working fine and free of errors, regardless of the preset number or ten row used. Also, the  transferring of various patches (about thirty) from the original GP-10 patch list by default in the OFF LINE mode was successful, no errors at all. I carried out the checking of patches integrity saved in LIBRARIAN LiveSets in OFF LINE mode, now with the GP-10 connected via USB in the normal online mode.
I wonder if some of you can check and confirm this on your own system.
If this is true, it could be concluded that the bug occurs only as an communication malfunction between software (BTS) and hardware (GP-10), not by the program itself (in the OFF LINE standalone mode).

If you do have hurdles with installing Boss Tone Studio ( I now use 7 flavors of it now) follow the step described in this thread:

Rhcole

As I have mentioned in other threads, BTS has corrupted some of my patches.
It's unpredictable.

I suspect the USB Driver is dropping MIDI message packets (are you using a USB 3.0 port?

read Autanas Boss Tone Studio analysis - when he runs BTS in "offline" mode - no errors

I used to see odd anomalies until I switched to Audioquest USB cables.  It's a bit odd to think that digital cables are as critical as audio cables, but I can definitely attest to it!
