Hello everybody,

is it possible to assign two strings only for tuning an octave down (for separate bass sound) ?
(please excuse my bad english)
I'm using this technique with a boss GP10 and was wondering if it was possible without the GK. stuff .....
Thanks for your time..

No and yes
You can't define the strings like you do with a hex PU
but you can define a range , for example low E to D sharp ( maj 7 up) , to
tune down one octave

I play Country music too, I'm just not sure which country it's from...

Thank you Brak(e)man !
So... in fact , one could achieve the same results with a good old Boss OC3 ! ?!?

I do this on the VG-99 all of the time.  I've been jamming with a drummer I've known for many years and just use a looper to set up grooves with guitar and bass and then do another loop with rhythm guitar or keyboard sounds.

Lots of fun.

Before this, I used an old Boss OC-2 octaver for a similar effect.

There are ways to do it with the SY300, just use a looper for other parts to make it more full.
