I'm shopping for a new synth access guitar and looking for recommendations.  I've been using a vintage Japanese guitar (Aria ProII TS400) with the GK3 mounted to it, and it works great but I want a flatter fretboard that's slightly wider, and I'm due for a new instrument.  I prefer thin D neck profiles.  The other thing I'd like in a new guitar is 24 frets and pickups with coil taps.  I've been thinking about a Carvin, but I've never played one and I hate to special order one without playing one.  Any suggestions?

I've had great success with Godin guitars; keep an eye out for "Godin sale season" on Amazon.
