I believe it was NAMM 2012 when Antares announced 2 guitars that would feature their Auto Tune for Guitars, the affordable Peavey AT-200, and a high end Parker. The Peavey was available shortly thereafter, but I never heard any more mention of the Parker Guitar.

I was interested in purchasing the Luthiers kit to install the system in a donor guitar, but probably will hold off and see how their floor unit for 13 pin guitars turns out.

Did any forum members hear or see any news about why the Parker guitar never materialized?

The Parker Antares Guitars never went into production, because Parker Guitars was sold in 2015 to US Music (Jam Industries) and US production ceased

QuoteCompany representatives[who?] unofficially announced[according to whom?] in 2015 that Parker's domestic production had ceased, and the search for a new manufacturing facility was underway. Since, no new Fly models have been produced, but it is unclear whether other Parker-branded imports are still being manufactured in Asia.[original research?] The last Parker guitars were manufactured in July of 2015.[citation needed]

The Parker brand is inactive. Beginning April 2016, the home page of the Parker Guitars company website was headed by a message indicating imminent resumption of business; as of October 2017, the message remains

I submitted the application to be approved to be an official authorized installer last December, and received back what I assume was the approval, and a confidential pricing guide, as they will only sell to approved installers. But, it may be more economical to get the floor unit which I can use with my many roland ready guitars.

I was interested in the Parker but it seems to have been scuttled.  The only info I found, was from the Parker Forum from 2013, explaining the delay as "waiting for new firmware that supported use on tremolo equipped guitars", which caused me to dig more, and realize none of the guitars I've seen using the AutoTune had trems, except , the Belew custom Fretless.

FWIW - I'm using the ATG-1 with this tremolo equipped guitar  - no problems

I was approved to purchase the luthiers kit. I like the idea of having this built into the guitar like the variax vs another floor unit. What is the price of the floor unit?
Setup:
Homemade EVH Frankenstrat with built in GK3
GR55
Rocktron Talkbox
TC Helicon Voicetone C1
Tech 21 Power Engine 60

I would really prefer having it in a guitar myself, like the jTV which I owned briefly but returned due to dissatisfaction with the acoustic and especially 12-string sounds. I DO NOT like the 13 pin cable! But, I can live well at least for the time being with my GP-10 and 90-95% pickup signal and COSM- my wallet is dictating GAS control, so I'm forced to actually concentrate on my playing for the time being  :P
Take what you need, put back a bit more, leave the place behind you better than it was before :-)

Back to the title of this thread - its now apparent in 2015  - Parker USA has ceased operations - thus the withdrawal of releases an Antares ATG Parker

But Adrian Belew on his signature Parker guitar swapped out his Variax DSP for the Antares ATG DSP

I don't see that this has been mentioned yet, although I did a forum search, but Belew had Parker put  together a Fretless Parker based off of his Signature Guitar specs, (with RMC saddles, PolyDrive, Sustainer), and the Antares. It doesn't appear to include the Variax, like all new Belew Signature guitars, and I could see the Antares being a good alternative to that system. He explains about the guitar very early in this video.
