Help!
I can't calibrate the pedal on my GR-55. I've done this before no problem, but now I get an error that says "Pedal out of range". Tried a factory reset, same thing. It really needs calibration as all volumes and functions are out to lunch. Anyone have this issue before? Isearched the forums, could not find any info on this one. :-[

Maybe something physically wrong with the rotary encoder attached to the pedal.
I know that they have failed on a very few of the Boss GT pedals, and the GR-55 uses the same part (AFAIK).

If you are DIY inclined, look inside the GR-55 to check it operates over the full pedal movement range,
and that it's plug is not dislodged slightly from the main board..

* Back up your GR-55  patches

* Perform a system Reset

* Recalibrate the Expression pedal

* Restore your GR-55 Patches

My GR-55 now seems to exhibit unusual EXP pedal ranges.
Some days I get the full 0~127 range, other days it seems to only go 0~115 full range.
Might be time for a replacement rotary encoder.

I had to replace mine. That could be what it is... Make sure everything is tight though before you do

Check the internal expression pedal mechanism and tighten loose parts

Please post if anyone has fixed this problem, I been having the same issue for over a year, range varies, checked for loose parts, tried to move the sensor but no luck. Been using an external pedal but the idea was to use both pedals.

Since GR-55 lacks an external Expression pedal input jack , How do you use an External Expression pedal with GR-55?

I'm using a DIY MIDI controller with an expression pedal that can be assigned to any parameter.

Is the GR55 expression pot the same value as EV5
