I've began using my GT-10 again, however, would like the same guitar to MIDI as the GT-100. One method I'm thinking of is patching the right output or the FX send of the 10 into the input of the 100. I'm guessing I might face an impedance mismatch. Is there any alternative method? I do not want another GR55. My only choice of guitar is a Jackson Warrior. I refuse to play anything else. I will not start hacking up an expensive guitar just to fit a GK or other pickup. I must add I only intend to send note info from the GT-10 via MIDI to my FA-06 synth as I already do with the GT-100.

Nothing like that in the GT-10, you might want to look at adding a SONUUS G2M,
http://www.sonuus.com/products_g2m.html
it does the same monophonic pitch to midi as the GT-100 does.
Free "GR-55 FloorBoard" editor software from https://sourceforge.net/projects/grfloorboard/

Thanks Gummy. I bought one. The G2M seems more accurate than the GT-100. Not so glitchy.
