Hi All, I'll be buying a Godin nylon strings and the GR-55. But which amp should i go for?

- Roland AC 60? it makes perfect sense for the Godin but from what I've read in this forum it's not suitable for the gr-55 patches.
- Roland Cube 80XL? the impression I have for this amp is that it is a good money/quality relationship but targeting electric guitar. So it would be good for the GR-55 but not for Godin. (hope that I'm not stating a huge mistake)

Any recommendation?
Thank you in advance for your comments.

Based upon your gear choices of Godin ACS SA Nylon string guitar and GR-55 - I imagine you are NOT seeking rock,Blues, Distortion tones - and prefer clean acoustic / new age type tones.

you should seek a powerful high wattage amplification system with lots of clean headroom which will play loud with no distortion.

Correct  - the Roland AC-60 is perfect size ( i own one)  - but it makes a very poor choice for GR-55, as it tends to distort very easily with the GR-55.

I suggest look at self powered PA Cabinets: Alto TS110A, TS112A, Behringer B212D

Also because you are using a Nylon String guitar - some GR-55 patches may sound full of low frequencies ("boomy") and the Guitar to MIDI Tracking may suffer ghost notes. RMC pickups in Berkeley, California (suppliers to Godin )  makes a special bandpass filter board for the GR-55 (OPT-01) for piezo guitar users which mounts inside the GR-55 and this really helps Guitar to PCM Synth and Guitar to MIDI GR-55  Tracking for piezo pickup owners.
