Hey - That sounds like a time well spent - can others join that Skype call?

Maybe we can make this a weekly / monthly event?

Jim Williams

I just joined Skype also and I will be available for some video conversations. Just search for gtrjimmy413.

Everything from modeling to the real deal, my house looks like a music store.

I use Skype all the time. In order to get a group video call you need to be a member. one on one skype video calls are free. You also need a good connection thru your cable system.

In order to do a Group video call, one member needs to have a premium account. Anyone here have one? If no one has one maybe someone can accept donations and get a premium account just to host some vguitarforum skype video sessions.

My handle is Germanicus2112 on skype. Feel free to add me.

We could possibly do a few of these and cover different topics that people are interested in, some possibilities:

-Gr55 tutorial/questions
-Vg99 tutorial/question session
-Variax/pod tutorial questions
-Midi guitar basics (setup/technique)
-Midi guitar rig design

The sky's the limit.

Id be happy to organize a few of these if theres sufficient interest.

This is an interesting idea.  I wonder if there's a way to extract the video to a file where it could be uploaded to youtube for later reference as well?

I believe Google also has something new now, I think its called You +. Works like video conferencing were all people in the group can see and talk to each other. not sure if it's free or not. might be an alternative option for a good idea.

Then they keep it and sell it to advertisers...
