GR-55- Cello

I thought for a while where to post this topic.
Is neither a Synth nor a Brass PCM....but  a Solo String

I found a great cello sample somewhere and tried to come close to it.
Enjoy and tweak it to your own.

thanks for uploading the files. the mp3 sounds very good. But somehow the g5l file doesn't work ?
I get the standard piano sound instead of your cello.

Dweeznl, when I load it I get

PCM1 339 Cello and
PCM2 337 Slow Violin

I recommend Gumtowns Floorboard Editor to load it.

Is that MP3 sample your patch, or the sample you tried to emulate?  It sounds pretty good if it's from the GR-55!

I don't want to make a big deal out of this, but why would you post a sound sample of something not produced by the GR-55? 

It's kind of assumed, isn't it, that any sound samples included in a post to the "Patch Exchange" sub-forum are going to be samples of the actual GR-55 patch in use - not a sound sample created by some totally different system, right? 

I did download the patch and as soon as I loaded it up it became clear to me that your attached sound sample was not played from the GR-55.

Anyway no harm no foul, but it was confusing all the same.

While "Cello" is a known instrument  - We have a cross cultural global membership here and not everyone knows the references to the patch names of songs or artists 

It remains valid to post the target MP3 sound being sought along with the GR/VG/GP patch
