Recently bought new JBL EON 610 speakers. Compared to my other speakers (EV ZLX12 and Alto TS112), I prefer the sound they produce and like the smaller size.

Anyone else using them? Also like the Bluetooth control from the iPad as the app allows control of up to 4 EON speakers.

How is the bass response compared to the TS112? I am in the market for some powered speakers and was thinking a 12" would be good. I will be playing backing tracks as well as guitar.

I prefer the sound of the JBL's much better as smaller speakers seem to have a "tighter" sound.. (sorry, very subjective)
Also using the speakers as floor monitors directly in front of me and my TS112 was a little too boomy for my taste.

The JBL EON6xx series also have an app on the iPad which allows much greater control of the sound, EQ and prefer it to even my EV ZLX12 controls.

I can dial in bass response on the speaker without touching the EQ on my GP-10 or GT-100 with the remote iPad app but still a work in progress.

You definitely would need to try them out as I am not sure what you need in terms of bass response. They are great for what I need to do and also pipe music through them as well when playing back recordings or working out tunes through the AUX in of my pedals.

Interesting speakers , with a iPad EQ remote control , but many B&H reviews claim internal rattling due to loose internal wiring harness inside EON 610 which may rattle with bass notes

Good to know. That exact issue happened to my Line 6 Amplifi 150

So with about some 10 rehearsals at levels similar to live situations, no rattles yet.
If I do encounter any rattles or issues, I'm more than happy to report it.

As for iPad control, just a heads up as you pair Bluetooth to each speaker, be ready for a firmware upgrade.
Takes a few minutes and on the second speaker, there was no sound when completed.
I cycled power and the 610 came up fine and with the latest firmware.
