Got my Kemper green pedal board done. It will hold my Kemper Remote and 2 pedals plus the remote expression and control pedal for my GR55. I'm so excited will load it this weekend.
Picture can be seen when you go direct to post
I used extra light plywood so board only ways less then 5lbs

I got my board loaded and the GR55 is now in a separate cabinet with my Kemper.

As you can see GR55 is in a drawer below Kemper and Synth-Lynx jack is mounted on front below Kemper 1/4in jack
No more tripping over cords coming from front and back

The new remote expression and control pedals are the ones on the right side of the shelf on the board

Damn, I thought I figured out how to post pics here. Just click on the title they show in the post

Thanks Mark, And all connected together with 2 Cat5 cables :) All GK connections use Gumbo's Synth-Linx jacks and being able to remote control the GR55 from board is way cool

No more accidentally starting the looper

And there's me worried about the weight of my board!

Awesome job and most importantly awesome rig - bet it sounds incredible

whippinpost91850

Thanks everyone, It does sound fantastic 8)

The board and head/cabinet way little more then the weight of what is in it. I used an ultralight plywood that literally weighs nothing.

I'm now getting ready to build a cab with wheels to hold my CLR cab and attach to the head so I can have everything completely wired except the pedal board.
It will still be able to come apart if I need to carry it up stairs..

I'm also working on remote switches for my ATG-1 to mount it with CLR

New software BETA 5.0 available on Kemper website.... Lots of new Delays  with many new controls.. I haven't tried them yet , but they are getting rave reviews

Elantric

With the 5.0 software update the Kemper Profiling Amplifire has a bunch more tricks for noisemakers and experimental music makers. This is an unstructured improvisation involving minimal guitar playing and manual knob-tweaking on the KPA. One Rig featuring the Soft Shaper, a distorted Engl profile (not that it makes a huge difference), some stereo modulation, reverb, and some messing with the new delays. There's no editing, just a limiter on the master bus.

The new delays are really amazing they have nothing to envy nor fractal or eventide or other high end units.
It has its own sound, flavor and nuance and among many other things can create some atmosphere of a high density and musicality that I think I have not heard before in other units.
And and they can be used several simultaneously, demonstrating unexpectedly the great capacity of process that still has the profiler, Im impressed.
There are some examples posted in the kemper forum:

I have been impressed with what I have heard as well. I hope to be able to try them out on Sunday. I have gigs on Friday and Saturday

I really would like to see this implemented and Christoph knows how to make a really good sounding synth.

Cheers,

I quoted the wrong person I think; Elantric. I went through this whole thread yesterday for info :-X You pointed these presets out so I'll give you all the credit  ;D The presets from Paults (?) are absolutely great. I still need to find a flute styled tone but all my other bread and butter tones from the SY are covered in this bunch. The only thing left is an equivalent of the Axel F and/or Good Old Synth styled preset. Really quite impressed with the Kemper. Now just to learn how to use the d@mn thing beyond previewing tones  :P :)

OK - I'm ready to take the plunge into Kemper World!

What do you guys recommend: head, rack, or amp unit?  Do any of them have unique features?  The application is 100% studio work.

Right now I'm leaning towards rack + remote.

Looking forward to your inputs!

Kemper powered Toaster has higher resale value, and for longest time was the only way to buy the Kemper footswitch via a dealer

The Kemper Rack has fewer front panel controls (missing both the MOD Rate / MOD Intensity knobs) , but most pros prefer it for its 19" road rack compatibility

By the time you add speakers it can push $3K-$4K

lately I'm using my Katana 100-112 ($300) and GA-FC ($89)+ 2 EV-5 ($100) = $489 total, and have less worries and great sound in s 32 pound package for live gigs

GuitarBuilder

Am I correct in thinking the only items missing on the rack version are the "Rate" and "Intensity" knobs?

I have the rack mount. I dig it. Looking at getting the mission engineering Gemini case for it. I attempted(and failed) at profiling my SY a few minutes ago. Pretty much the expected results but I gave it a try just in case.
