I took out some CDs out of the dusty box and found out that Steely Dan is still one of the best
bands on the Earth! Recently I saw Larry Carlton on the Internet-TV giving advices to people
who want to learn guitar-playing. His sound is very dynamic-sensitive. He said that he used only
a 335 and a Fender DeLuxe, volume set to 2, everything else on 5. I had to use an other amp
model for the sake of dynamic-response... I hope my patch is good
enough for you too, try "Kid Charlemagne" or othe Steely Dan songs...
Check out other COSM-guitars with this amp-model. This could be a "mother" of a few good patches!
Check out your magnetic pickups too, surprise, surprise!
The F1-F6 buttons are for amp-tweaking.

Good luck!

I suspect you right click on the patch and then try to save it. Just click on the link with your left-mouse button and then save it. Now you should be able to open it in the VG-99 editor (File - Import SMF)

Look to the bottom of the post - see the link to "Larry's sBlues1.mid" file

LEFT CLICK on it will bring up a message box.

Select Save File - it will download to your hard drive.

I hope you like this patch.
Just have realized that the level for channel A in the mixer
section is too low. It works fine with maximum=100.

Have fun!

Here´s my current favorit patch, just as described above:
only a 335 COSM-guitar and an overdriven Fender amp.
This works also fine for a couple of Santana songs.
You can hear my version of "Samba Pa Ti" here, played
with this patch:
